My first trail ride!

I usually go to a horse riding lesson but today I didn't have to do anything!  I just had to ride along bumpy roads.  I loved it!  It was my first trail ride!  Oh, and I  didn't get to ride in the truck, or in the trailer with Rosebud, but I was still having fun.  And then I just rode, rode, rode, rode..  I could have ridden forever!  But then I needed to go home. 

It looked like a really old place so I was looking everywhere for dinosaur bones but I didn't find any.  But my sister found some little bones.  They weren't dinosaur bones though.  She also found a gray lizard.  It is funny.  It's a baby.  I got a baby toad and she got a baby lizard.  I like to watch the lizard run and jump.  It's cute.  My sister's lizard thinks she is her mommy.  That's silly.

Next time, Rosebud and I will go on a trail ride, I hope.  And I'm so excited I want to say, "YAY!"

The Best Christmas Party Ever in August...!

The Christmas party was fun!  We decorated a Christmas tree and played some games and made crushed ice and a lot and a lot of other things.  But most of all we got to open presents!!  And, Kyla was pretending to be Santa Claus, and she also had a beard, but I knew it wasn't real.

Thank you, Pastor Connie, for having that great Christmas party!  It was AWESOME!

I eat through a tube in my tummy, and through my mouth..

My tummy hurts when we push on it where my button is, and I'm tired of my tummy button leaking a lot.

Tummy tubes are something that we use to eat if we have allergies or if anything is wrong with our tummy.  Sometimes I just use feel my tummy saying, "I want food!  Feed me!" but my tummy still feels full.  I want to eat but my tummy is too full. 

I feel sad when I see people eating foods I can't eat but I wish I could.  When I see somebody eating something I can eat, it makes me feel better.  When I came home from the hospital I couldn't eat anything except for water and ice.  It was like they didn't want me to eat anything, but I knew they did, they wanted to see how I was doing and they didn't want me to get sick.

I can eat a little bit of food now, but eating too much makes my tummy hurt and makes me feel like I have to throw up.  It sometimes helps if my mom or dad take food out of my tummy.  But I have to tell them when my tummy is full and it's kind of hard to know that because I'm only 7 years old. 

Some kids can eat food and some kids like me can't.  It just makes us different.  I'm happy that I can eat a little food now, and that my tummy tube gives me the food I can't eat.

Once upon a time, there was a part cow, part dragon and it breathed fire.  One night it flew off to a different  island and it found a nest with an egg in it.  Before she could eat the egg, a little dragon popped out of it.  And the little dragon said, "Mama?  Mama?"  It was part cow, part dragon too. 

The big dragon became the little dragon's mom.  But she wasn't able to take it back to Dino Island because the little dragon was too small.  The little dragon said, "Mama?  Baby's hungry."  So the big dragon took the little dragon to a dragon restaurant and they got some milk for the baby. 

They lived happily ever after.

Want to know how much I like dragons?  I like them very much.  The green ones are my favorite because green is my favorite color.  I also like it when they're breathing fire. 

Somebody sent me a card with money in it, but they didn't give it to my sister.  They gave it to me. 

I was going to go on a date with my mom last night so we'd have some alone time but I fell asleep before we could go.  And I fell asleep on the couch wearing my robe!  So, bye.  I will talk to you next time.

Dear Pastor Connie,

I wonder when we get to have that Christmas party we were going to have.  Only 4 more months until Christmas!  When will you see me? 

I'm eating fish and corn tonight.  Want to know something really funny?  I know a really fun Christmas party thing.  We can give presents and go on a adventure and eat angel cake and a lot a lot of other stuff.

I'm down to the bottom now.  Good night.
